Heidy Alpízar was born in Costa Rica and has lived in this peaceful and beautiful country most of her life. She started working as a realtor in 1994 and therefore has the extensive market knowledge and negotiation skills that help her clients make great decisions in the real estate market.
Her educational background includes business administration, finance, accounting, human relations, and professional ethics, as well as organization and communication skills. Over the years, she has acquired ample knowledge and experience in database maintenance, photo editing programs, and website maintenance. She lived in Boston, Massachusetts, and New Orleans, Louisiana, where she learned the English language. In March 2001 she obtained the Real Estate Certificate with Honors from the State University UNED and became part of the very few realtors in Costa Rica with a University degree in Real Estate.
Before becoming a realtor, she worked for several years at United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and Habitat for Humanity International, demonstrating ability to cope with high paced environments, a great natural capacity for problem-solving, and working without supervision, to achieve personal and organizational goals. She knows how to communicate at all levels, how to handle confidential information and respect client´s privacy with professionalism and reliability.
She has ran her own real estate office, CIRealty, for many years and therefore is a self-driven, results-oriented person. Her work as an independent broker also taught her how to be self-disciplined, pro-active, detail-oriented, and very organized.
One of the most significant sales in which she has participated was putting together a package of several properties in order to successfully complete the negotiations with the multinational corporation INTEL in 1997.
